My name is Lucas, I am the founder of Bailey Bear's Pet Services. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, and drop-in visits for small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. I operate in Herne Bay, Whitstable, and nearby surrounding areas. Get in touch to discuss the needs of you and your pet!
I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, especially after getting Bailey when I was a young child. I currently have two dogs, Willow and Stitch, who I absolutely adore. Willow is a 7 year old French Bulldog x Boston Terrier, and Stitch is a 4 year old French Bulldog. They are extremely spoilt, which they definitely deserve! This experience means that I am well versed in dog behaviour and care needs and you can trust me to ensure that your dog receives the love and care they deserve.As well as dogs, I am also great with cats and other small animals. I have cared for my neighbours cats many times over the years while they have been on holiday, providing food and water as well as entertainment and a good fuss!As well as this, I volunteer at New Hope Animal Rescue twice weekly which I am very passionate about and it gives me great fulfilment to be able to help animals in need alongside incredible people who do such an amazing job. Many different animals come through the doors of New Hope, such as dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, birds, cows, and pigs just to name a few! I have gained experience dealing with animals who have additional needs, such as dogs and cats with anxiety/attachment issues and helping them to regain trust in people. There is no better feeling than when an animal starts to trust you.
This is Bailey, he was my first experience with dogs. He was introduced into our family when I was 10 years old. He was the sweetest, most gentle chocolate labrador and he lived a happy 12 years with us. I felt it was fitting to name this business after one of our many nicknames for him "Bailey Bear".

WALKS
Solo walks, with just me and your dog. I am happy to walk multiple dogs from the same household providing that after initial meeting, I feel that I can confidently and safely walk them together. Poo bags and treats included!30 minute walk - £12
1 hour walk - £16£6 per each additional dog from the same household.DROP INSPet sitting is offered in the home of the client. Unfortunately I do not offer boarding in my home at this time.I offer drop-in appointments for cats, as well as small animals such as hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils and more. I am also experienced with fish, having kept many successful tropical aquariums over the years. Feel free to enquire if your pet is not listed above, and I will try my best to accommodate. Drop-in visits are available for durations of 30 minutes or 1 hour.30 minute drop-in - £12
1 hour drop-in - £16SITTINGPet sitting is offered in your own home, so that your pets can keep as much of their routine as possible while you are away. I offer a variety of durations, from 4 hours to multiple days. Pricing is available below.Half day (up to 4 hours) - From £35
1 day (up to 8 hours) - From £50

It never felt like we were out of the loop, and we could see just how happy and comfortable the dogs were with him.On top of caring for the dogs, Lucas also managed the house exceptionally well. Everything was kept clean, tidy, and just as we had left it, which really shows his respect and professionalism. It made coming home so much easier, knowing everything was looked after so well.Lucas made what could have been a stressful experience feel effortless, and because of him we’ll never consider putting our dogs in boarding kennels again. We now feel fully confident leaving them in his care in the future, and he will absolutely be our first choice whenever we need a sitter.
